Data management is one of the core principles of Nigeria States Health Investment project/Additional Financing (NSHIP/AF) and based on this, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has since 2014, been working vigorously to ensure that reliable and efficient web-enabled data management platform is being used by the project. Following this, the project migrated from generic web-enabled portal (thenewtechs.com) to open-RBF platform and currently moving to DHIS2 platform.
In view of this, NPHCDA organized a 5 day training workshop at Emerald hotel Gombe from 9th – 15th June 2019, aimed at building the capacity of State level implementers of Nigeria States Health Investment project/Additional financing for effective use of the DHIS2 platform.
Participants were drawn from Gombe, Borno, Ondo and Yobe states NSHIP/AF project implementation units as well as Contract Management Verification Agencies and Independent Verification Agencies.
The training equipped participants with knowledge on how to use the DHIS2 mobile application to conduct, CCSS, quality assessment, and counter verification respectively.
