The Executive Secretary, Gombe State Primary Health Care Development Agency (GSPHCDA) Dr. Abdulrahman Shu’aibu embarked on an advocacy visit to the traditional rulers of Deba HRH Alhaji Ahmed Usman and that of Yamaltu HRH Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu on modified medical outreach and biometric attendance machine installation across PHC Facilities in yamaltu Deba.

The Executive Secretary on behalf of the Agency solicited for support from the traditional rulers to ensure the smooth running of the programme. The outreach will be conducted across five LGAs Dukku, Nafada, Akko and Yamaltu deba. The programme will be in 3 rounds October, November and December 2020 and the biometric attendance will kickoff first in Yemaltu Deba LGA. Dr. Abdulrahman Shu’aibu further said that the State Government and the Primary Health Care Development Agency will provide free drugs for High Blood Pressure (HBP) antenatal drugs for women and immunization for children during the exercise

In their response, both Emirs applauded the His Excellency Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and the Executive Secretary GSPHCDA Dr. Abdulrahman Shu’aibu for their dedication towards Health development especially in the LGAs across the State, they assured him of their full support on the forth coming outreach and wished him luck on his future endeavors.

In the same vain, the ES in the company of other Directors from the Agency and the representative of the World Health Organization visited the Chairman, House Committee on Health in Gombe State House of Assembly, Hon. Bappah Jurarah in his office.

The ES appreciated him for making time out of his tight schedule to see them. Finally Honourable Bappah Jurarah commended the ES and his team for their proactive drive on health related activities and he finally prayed for a successful outreach.
